Positive: The location is beautiful. Loved being amongst the trees with lots of different birds visiting. It is a lovely cosy cottage but still spacious.
Negative: I would have liked blockout curtains, in the bedrooms in particular. It needs it for both light control and retaining warmth in the cold weather.

Positive: The house we stayed in was stunning. The ammenities were great. The decor was stunning. They have done very well. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. I didn't want to get out. Very cozy property.
Negative: The parking was a bit rough. But once you got used to it , it was ok.

Positive: This accomodation was amazing. From the moment we walked in, we were wowed by the beauty of the house, fixtures and furniture. It was a large home, but it felt cozy. Everything was easy to access, plenty of things in the kitchen for us to cook breakfast. The bed was amazing, and the bathroom was lovely. The location and views from the property were also perfect. We will stay again.
Negative: There is nothing we didn't like about this accomodation.
Summary: The Winter Rose was a private, peaceful place to stay. Very cozy and romantic.

Positive: The beds were so very comfortable, there were heaters in each major pat of the house, kept us warm. The host stocked the kitchen and pantry so very well, spoilt us with extras like coffee pods, coffee plungers, pasta sauces, lovely biscuits, both savoury and sweet. The kitchen was great and the stove was high quality and we had enough equipment and utensils for cooking meals. The chairs and sofas were very comfy and we were spoilt for choice with different dining areas with superb outdoor garden views. The outdoor gardens were landscaped and designed so beautifully and beautiful colourful birds came to feed.
Negative: nothing.

Positive: The setting was magical - it is the most wonderful opportunity to step back in time. A very unique home and location. Very special
Negative: Very poor communication with the host provider - I had to wait an hour to be let into my accomodation. With no code having been sent. The internet service in that area is terrible and I was not able to ring or message. I had to wait for my son to arrive so I could use his phone to ring the company to let me in. With no instruction or welcome book provided. It took much frustrating time to work out how to turn off the "Mood" music and work the TV - I at last tracked down in the modem in the pantry and with patience pecked the details into my phone so I could gain WiFi access however the reception was non exisistent Respectfully the owner of the property was very pleasant, however I did not appreciate her just popping in while my son and I were spending precious family time chatting on the back verandah. I have very recently had a home invasion and found myself uncomfortably tiggered by this uninvited intrusion. It made me very uncomfortable to stay there on my own, I actually left a night earlier. Particularly as I had no phone service for emergency needs. And EIGHT days after having $500 taken for any "damages", that money has still not been returned to my account.
Summary: A beautiful home in a glorious location, however you are not the main priority as the guest.
